What is GCIP Türkiye?
Türkiye, as a significant global player, has long supported global environmental endeavors. First phase of the GCIP Project was carried out between years 2013 and 2018. During this period, nearly 900 applications were received between 2013 and 2018. In total, 139 clean technology initiatives benefited from the acceleration processes. Companies with highcommercialization potential, who successfully completed the first phase of the program, wereprovided with support for participation in the Cleantech Open Global Forum held in California's Silicon Valley and monetary rewards. SMEs and start-up companies working in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency, waste management, green buildings, smart transportation and advanced materials were given extensive training, mentorship, access to investors and opportunities to showcase their innovations to the media and the public. Companies with high commercialization potential, who successfully completed the first phase of the program, were provided with support for participation in the Cleantech Open Global Forum held in California's Silicon Valley and monetary rewards.
