Mikrohes produces Archimedes Screws Turbines (ASTs). ASTs are a new form of small, hydroelectric powerplant that can be applied even in low head sites. ASTs offer a clean and renewable source of energy and are safe for wildlife , especially fish in hydro generation options. ASTs can offer many economic, social and environmental advantages that make them an important option for providing sustainable hydropower development.

Archimedes screws can operate in low water heads (less than about 10 m) and a wide range of flow rates with practical efficiencies of 60% to 80% and can generate up to 400 kW of power. ASTs increase the number of suitable sites where it is possible to develop sustainable hydropower, including undeveloped, hard to access regions and small communities. At many low head sites, ASTs may be more cost-effective, with lower installation and operating costs than alternative hydropower systems. ASTs may also reduce the disturbance of natural sedimentation and erosion processes, and have smaller impacts on fish and other fauna. ASTs can often be retrofitted to existing unpowered dams or weirs, providing new hydropower capacity for very little marginal environmental impact.

CTSolutions reliably separates feedstocks into commercial oil of the 1st quality category, purified water, and solid phase waste. The solution is a universal technology for the step-by-step separation of feedstocks on centrifugal equipment. It allows the processing of all types of oil-containing waste. Deep processing of oil into a commercial form by more than 98% ensures rational and efficient use of the available feedstock. It is a high-tech solution to economic and environmental problems.

CTSolutions has already been put into industrial operation. Significantly, they've processed an industrial volume of 5000 m3 that could not be processed by any other economically and technologically acceptable method. They've achieved a record return of feedstock to commercial form of more than 98% of the potential. The solution can be used to process all types of oil-containing waste.

Having received patents for the method of processing oil-containing waste, CTSolutions has the necessary competencies to implement the large-scale task of processing technogenic waste.

Ozen-M aims to solve the problem of water resources management in Kazakhstan and the whole region. 7 out of 8 river basins of Kazakhstan are transboundary. Ozen-M's goal is to promote digitalization in the management of water structures, water distribution, accounting and monitoring of water resources in Kazakhstan. Their product includes the digitization of river basins of Kazakhstan to create a web application with an interactive map called "Ozen-M". They have already completed the identification of geographic data structures for the Aral-Syrdarya, Balkhash-Alakol, Irtysh, Zhaiyk-Caspian, Yesil, Nura-Saryssu, Shu-Talas and Tobol-Turgai basins in GeoJSON format. Ozen-M will allow for real-time online monitoring of river flow to facilitate effective water resources management both domestically and from external sources.

Tau Innovative Solutions (Re-Compo) recycles composite packaging into building materials. In Kazakhstan and around the world, there are some types of waste that cannot be recycled or are poorly recycled for a number of reasons. One of them is composite packaging for juices, dairy products, and disposable cups, also known as Tetra Pak. Other wastes include glass, industrial hemp and rice husks, which are also difficult to recycle.

Their technology allows them to recycle such waste and produce environmentally friendly building panels from it. Their solution is an alternative to standard OSB, MDF panels, etc. Building panels made from recycled composite packaging, glass, industrial hemp and/or rice husk are environmentally friendly and do not contain any chemicals or glue inside. They are better and more efficient in terms of technical parameters than standard analogues.

ReCompo panels are a sustainable and innovative solution for the construction industry. They can help to reduce waste, improve environmental performance, and save money.

SmartEnergyTree

SmartEnergyTree is a solar and wind powered smart tree with Wi-Fi. It is an energy installation with self-cleaning systems, rainwater collection and irrigation of surrounding plants, Wi-Fi distribution, electric vehicle sockets and many other functions. It is equipped with an anti-vandal self-cleaning honeycomb solar panel made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and a new type of modular wind turbine with air pockets that allows it to rotate even in light winds.

The Smart Tree allows the distribution of Wi-Fi within a radius of 150 meters, charge batteries of electric vehicles and smartphones, information about the time, temperature, and humidity, can broadcast advertisements on a LED display, can heat nearby benches and sidewalks (eliminating ice), can illuminate the installation site, and can conduct video surveillance on the area.

The goal of the project and the tasks it solves are to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and reduce losses during power outages.
