LUAZ Care, developed by Ukrainian company LUAZ Motors, is an electric wheelchair-accessible vehicle (eWAV) that lets people with disabilities drive directly from their wheelchair, removing the need to transfer and reducing dependence on caregivers. Its design features a transforming door-to-ramp system, drive- and brake-by-wire control operated via the wheelchair's own joystick, and a compact body that carries one wheelchair driver, two passengers, and up to 300 kg of cargo. A multi-mode charging system supports public, home, and optional solar charging, and a dedicated powered wheelchair with its own 30 km range can be sold together with or separately from the vehicle. LUAZ Care reaches users through direct sales, institutional supply to governments and social services, and NGO partnerships across the EU, UK, and Ukraine. Fully electric with zero tailpipe emissions, each vehicle cuts an estimated 1.2-4.6 tonnes of CO2 annually.

MELT WATER

Water Efficiency

MELT WATER has developed the world's first freeze-based (cryogenic) water purification technology: only pure water crystallizes into ice while contaminants remain liquid and drain away, so no filters or membranes are needed and natural minerals are preserved. Its AI-integrated, maintenance-free smart device delivers cold, hot, sparkling water, and ice in one unit, with a mobile app for real-time monitoring and sustainability reporting. Compared with conventional filters and reverse osmosis, MELT eliminates consumables and plastic waste and cuts wastewater by up to seven times. The company sells directly and via subscription across home, plus, and pro product lines for households, offices, and hospitality. Its environmental impact is substantial: every 1,000 devices save around 15,000 kg of plastic and 24 million liters of water each year. MELT has deployed over 200 devices, built a partner network through its bottled-water arm, and earned recognition including Top 100 Ukrainian startups and a Forbes foodtech listing. The company's founder, Andrew Osadchyi, also served as a juror at Cleantech Days 2026.

Green Energy Nest (Mindfour Group)

Green Energy Nest (GEN), by Mindfour Group, builds decentralized clean-energy balancing hubs that combine solar PV, battery storage, and an AI energy-management system into one adaptive, resilient infrastructure. A typical hub pairs about 1.26 MWp of solar with 3.65 MWh of storage and roughly 1 MW of export capacity, optimised in real time for day-ahead and balancing markets, with islanding capability that keeps critical infrastructure - schools, hospitals, emergency centres - powered during blackouts. The modular architecture scales into regional balancing clusters, and future phases introduce 100% recyclable composite PV modules instead of glass. GEN follows a hybrid B2B/B2G model via Build-Own-Operate and Public-Private Partnership schemes, earning from day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets, grid-support and resilience services, and future carbon credits. Its climate impact is significant: an eight-hub network avoids around 56,250 tonnes of CO2 per year, equivalent to about 2.5 million trees.

Mycelia Tech

Mycelia Tech develops sustainable, mycelium-based materials as an eco-friendly alternative to animal and synthetic leather for the fashion, cosmetics, automotive, and furniture industries. Using fungal-growth technology, it binds agricultural waste, mushroom roots, and natural tannins into a high-performance, leather-like material that offers greater elasticity than synthetic leather, is tested to last five years or more, and is made from 100% locally sourced resources. The company operates as a B2B material supplier, selling its biomaterial by the square meter to premium brands and co-developing applications with them. Its climate impact is twofold: each square meter saves roughly 29 kg of CO2 equivalent - about 4.4 kg from replacing animal leather and 25 kg from upcycling agricultural waste - and the company has already upcycled more than 1,500 kg of agro-waste.

Ochis

Ochis produces the world's first eyewear made from coffee and plant-based biopolymers. It collects used coffee grounds from local cafes and transforms them, together with flax shives and natural oils, into a proprietary, patented biopolymer called BIOCOFEX, produced fully in-house for quality control. The finished eyewear - frames and lenses - is biobased, water-resistant, durable, carries a subtle coffee aroma, and is designed to last for years before returning to the earth. Unlike many 'eco' eyewear brands that still rely on plastics, Ochis controls the entire cycle, from collecting grounds to crafting frames. It sells through a dual-channel model combining B2B partnerships with optical retailers and concept stores and direct-to-consumer online sales. Each frame saves around half its water footprint and cuts CO2 by roughly 80% compared with conventional cellulose-acetate eyewear. Ochis has sold over 3,000 pairs across 48 countries, works with retail partners, and has been featured by BBC, Forbes, and Vogue.

PowerDrive

PowerDrive is a veteran-founded e-mobility company offering a complete sustainable urban-mobility ecosystem built around electric scooters for couriers and delivery services. It provides rental, in-house repair, and its own electric scooters and lithium battery packs, delivering faster operations, lower running costs, zero emissions, and longer battery life than imported alternatives. Its differentiators are local design, assembly, and servicing in Ukraine, in-house repair, and proprietary battery technology, ensuring quality, durability, and fast maintenance. As a veteran-owned business, PowerDrive also creates jobs for veterans through a growing network of veteran-run workshops that support their social reintegration. Revenue comes from B2B scooter-rental subscriptions, maintenance and battery-service contracts, and vehicle and battery sales. Each scooter avoids roughly 500 kg of CO2 per year, and more than 85% of battery materials are recyclable. With over 120 active vehicles across Lutsk, Rivne, and Lviv, years of technical experience, and a partnership with Glovo, PowerDrive is expanding to more cities.

Prodecologia (Soncefor)

Waste Beneficiation

Prodecologia (NVF Prodekologia) develops technology and equipment for separating and recovering the components of end-of-life solar panels, alongside a broader line of magnetic, electrostatic, and sensor-pneumatic separators for material processing. Its solar-panel innovation enables the re-use of about 95% of a panel's glass - the single most valuable component - turning a difficult recycling problem into recoverable material for new panels. The company's strengths are technical (around 25% higher component-separation efficiency than competitors), technological (solving the customer's process problem rather than only selling machines), and organizational (tailored solutions with installation, commissioning, author supervision, and rapid service response). Recycling a single solar panel cuts CO2 emissions by about 67% compared with primary production. Prodecologia follows a B2B model targeting European enterprises that recycle solar panels.

As a professional cosmetic brand free of plastic packaging, Re[Sens] prevented around 3 tonnes of plastic waste in 2025, a figure it projects to reach roughly 20 tonnes by 2035. The company runs an asset-light model, integrating in-house R&D, formulation, and branding with GMP-certified EU manufacturing and biodegradable-packaging suppliers, and sells to distributors, aesthetic clinics, and consumers at premium positioning. Re[Sens] has strong traction across nine European markets, with active distribution partners, hundreds of aesthetic clinics, and a growing direct-to-consumer base, and has been recognised internationally, including by ELLE Japan as a prominent Ukrainian brand.

Sirocco Energy

Sirocco Energy develops US-patented compact wind turbines purpose-built for decentralized, on-site energy generation at suburban and industrial businesses - settings where conventional turbines designed for rural areas do not fit. Available in 30 kW and 100 kW sizes, with larger models planned, its turbines feature an adaptive rotor and gearless drivetrain that operate efficiently at lower suburban wind speeds and run continuously, day and night, with minimal noise and a land footprint up to ten times smaller than traditional turbines, while remaining bird-safe. Target segments include agriculture, industry, and data centres. The business model combines direct turbine sales and service, a hybrid Energy-as-a-Service leasing option with recurring revenue, and AI-driven grid optimisation. Each installation can cut roughly 168 tonnes of CO2 per year. Sirocco Energy was named a Top 3 Finalist in the global Growth Track competition at Cleantech Days 2026 and received Special Recognition for its greenhouse gas emissions reduction potential.
